This is a casual BBQ joint that has some fantastic ribs and pulled pork sandwiches. I felt obligated to say something after I read a review with some person who complained about this not being their ideal “Christmas meal for their family”. Get your life together and do better than takeout for Christmas losers. (No offense to the restaurant) Great spot, old school feel. Anytime they have they BBQ sandwich 3.99, it’s hard to not stop by and grab one. Support your homegrown bbq

Saw a quick video on TikTok about this place and wanted to give them a try. Great food, great staff and an overall enjoyable experience. Very unique food options instead of the run of the mill barbecue options. Love the decor, seating is a bit limited but they are great with carry out which I don’t mind because I don’t live too far away.

Although this spot is small I would not call it a 'hole in the wall'. Bbq was on point and the bison ribs were delicious. I didn't get any photos because the food barely hit the table before it was devoured like savages that had not eaten in a month. I will definitely be coming back.

Roaming Buffalo or should that be Bison? Don’t bother me with your semantics! I’ll call a bison a buffalo whenever I want. I just won’t try to hug one. Aside from all that nonsense. Should you eat here? Yes!!! Why? Cause the BBQ crew here are serious about getting it done and doing it right. You won’t find much better Q says both me and my compadre. Try those bison ribs, a wing or two, some venison sausage and discover carnivore ambrosia.

This is better than I remember. Bring your appetite, the portions are big! I personally loved The Real McCoy, the jalapenos added the right amount of spice. A must try for BBQ lovers!

Heard about this place on Google, Best dive BBQ places in Denver. This is top notch BBQ. Had the Real Mccoy sandwich. This is way bigger then I expected and boy was it worth it. Brisket burnt ends, Bison Green Chile & cheddar sausage, all of it, huge and tasty!!!! The lady behind the counter gave it to me for asking for a to go bag. She said girl scouts have eaten the entire thing. I was pressed for time, but next time Im there I will conquer in one sitting. Thank you Roaming Buffalo!!!!

Had the pleasure of eating their food at a catered event and thought it was so good I had to write a review about it. Beans were arguably the best I’ve ever had, i loved the variety in them with jalapeños. My favorite meat was the brisket but the smoked turkey breast was also insane, and I loved their BBQ sauce. Can’t wait to come in and eat at the restaurant!

This is one of the better BBQ places I’ve tried in Denver! The bison ribs were very flavorful, so were the traditional ribs and the brisket also did not disappoint. The prices seemed very fair especially for the portion sizes. The staff and service were excellent. Yes the restaurant is smaller but it has a local neighborhood vibe and is very welcome. We definitely plan on going back to try out one of the sandwiches next!
